The essay, Education, Game and Conflict wants to show how game can be a useful educational tool in order to understand a conflict. This goal entails a preliminary definition of what “game” means and then, secondarily, which among the different typologies of games would be the most appropriate to serve this purpose. Analyzing the recreational-educational experience of Beyond the Wall of the Lavoroperlapersona foundation, this article wants to offer a theoretical framework of the usefulness of role-playing game in order to highlight the dynamics that lead to the development of conflict and of construction of the enemy – be it social, cultural and anthropological – in order to deconstruct them and activate processes that will lead to their attenuation and modification.
