This article intends to analyze the Guardini’s reading of Pascal, that concerns not only a fundamental author of French culture and modern philosophy, but witnesses the possibility of another Modernity compared with the victorious one in the history of Western thought. The German-Italian author exalts the French thinker not only in the text dedicated to him but also in other works, such as The End of the Modern Age, deeply marked by Pascal’s inspiration.
